General

Ronar M is an excellent example of a Camper and Nicholson 38 foot Ketch.  Those whohave only experienced modern production line boats will be amazed at the quality and solidity of everything on board, from the humblest light fitting to the largest item of joinery.

She has a comfortable and pleasing motion in a seaway.  Properly trimmed she will practically sail herself.  It is commonplace to leave the wheel, go below to check the chart, put the kettle on and then come back on deck to find her still on course.  With the wheel lashed she will often largely sail herself.  There is no slamming to windward.  Below, she is almost silent at 7 knots. In gusts she just settles a little and accelerates.  She is heavy and potentially slow in light winds but with large spinnaker and mizzen staysail she keeps going very well.  She will carry full working sail up to 20 knots. She is a great boat and will take her crew anywhere in the world.
